Calling all PhDivas

The PhDiva is asking for submissions from women who have earned doctorates in any field of study. These perspectives will be compiled to create an edited book tentatively titled “Words from the Wise: Women with Doctoral Degrees Share Their Experiences in Academia.”

To construct the book, I am seeking brief  contributions (one word to four sentences) from women of all racial/ethnic and social backgrounds that relate to their experiences as doctoral students or as faculty members. Submissions should be truthful, sassy, funny words of wisdom that can be shared with other women who are in pursuit of the degree or who are post doctorates and just need a few golden…er…pink nuggets to keep them on the right track.

Women interested in contributing should respond to either or both of the following:
